Refund Policy
ShomoySoft is committed to delivering high-quality software, hosting, and consulting services. This page explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
Custom development & consulting
Custom software, AI, and consulting engagements are governed by the executed Statement of Work (SOW) or proposal. Refund terms — including milestone cancellation, kill-fee, and deliverable acceptance — are documented in the individual agreement. In the absence of a specific clause, work completed and accepted is non-refundable, while undelivered work scoped after a cancellation notice will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
Hosting & SaaS products (e.g. PDT Hosting)
For our hosting and SaaS products, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new monthly subscriptions. To qualify:
- The refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase.
- Domain registrations, third-party licenses (e.g. premium SSL, paid software), and setup fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a standard timeline of 7 to 10 working days.
- Accounts terminated for terms-of-service violations are not eligible.
Annual subscriptions are refundable on a pro-rata basis within the first 30 days, minus any non-refundable fees listed above.
How to request a refund
Email info@shomoysoft.com with your order number / invoice ID and a brief explanation of the request. We'll respond within 2 business days.
Disputes
We aim to resolve all refund concerns directly. If you believe a request was handled unfairly, you may escalate to our management at the same email address with subject "Refund Escalation".
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
